VETERANS DAY ---Hinton Public School Staff and Students received a letter from MR. CLARENCE MCLOUD which reads like this, "Thank you so very much for the letters and pictures that you sent me.  I was so surprised when they gave them to me on my way home on the Honor Flight that I took to Washington D.C.  It is an Honor to know that our younger generation is being taught what it means to know and appreciate what we have in our Country and how it was achieved and the sacrifices that were made and still are being made so that all can have them.  I was very impressed by the Patriotism that was shown by your students.  It was an honor to be picked to go on the Honor Flight, but a bigger honor to receive so many letters and pictures from you.  Thank you for the program that the school privides on Veterans Day for my and my fellow Veterans and for asking us as American Legion members to be a part of the program.  Thank you again from a 90 YEAR OLD WWII VETERAN."

Read letter received from State Superintendent - Joy Hofmeister.
